Estate Silver Jewelry Is A Hot Fashion Pick!

Noviembre 2nd, 2009 por Engagement Rings Admin

Sterling silver is an excellent choice in estate jewelry. Long lasting, easy to care for, and so beautiful. Buying estate jewelry sterling silver can be a lot of fun but it can also be confusing.

Whether you are looking at sterling silver for a gift for that special someone or looking to add to your own jewelry to make that fashion statement, it’s important you understand the terms that are used throughout the industry. Once you understand the terminology you will be better equipped to choose quality pieces of sterling silver jewelry and you’ll be able to complete your purchases with a lot more confidence.

It doesn’t matter whether you are buying on line or at your local store. It doesn’t matter if you are buying in the USA or Canada or in Europe or China. The terminology used to describe silver are the same around the world.

Sterling silver jewelry has always been popular and remains so today. Sterling silver estate jewelry has also shared it’s time in the limelight but in recent years its popularity has exploded. That’s because buyers are looking for something a little more unique than modern sterling silver can offer. Everyone knows how beautiful sterling silver is and how durable it is, that’s one of the reasons it’s such a popular choice. And of course let’s not forget how affordable it is!

Silver has it history into ancient times, but has not survived as well as gold. Unlike gold which has no ill effects from age and exposure sterling silver does. It deteriorates over time. Throughout history sterling silver has experienced bursts of popularity where it was far more vogue than wearing gold jewelry. Today is one of those periods in time!

Silver is the most common of all the precious metals. Fine silver is pure silver but it not commonly used for jewelry because it is way too soft and bends and breaks far too easily. Instead fine silver is mixed with copper. 925 parts of silver are mixed with 75 parts of copper which is just enough copper to firm up the silver to make beautiful jewelry. This 925 grade is called sterling silver throughout the world and is recognized as the purest form of silver available for jewelry.

This is the mark you are looking for. Either that or the actual sterling mark. Both will guarantee you that what you are buying is sterling silver and not some cheap base metal like nickel which will wear and look awful very quickly.

Silver has many benefits over gold. It is much lighter weighing about half as much as gold. It is much more flexible but not as malleable so it allows for beautiful jewelry creations. Lastly it is much less expensive yet it will last you your lifetime and probably those of a couple of more generations. Two exact pieces one in silver and one in gold. The gold piece will cost 5 to 6 times more than the sterling silver piece.

Current fashion trends which include a lot of black or dark materials have added to the popularity of sterling silver as it looks very well with black. In fact it has much more of a dramatic impact than gold does.

Silver likes to be worn. It helps keep it shiny and beautiful. Left hanging for any length of time means you’ll need to polish it to remove the tarnish. In our fast paced world silver is an excellent choice. Just as we have wash and wear clothing silver is an excellent grab and wear style of jewelry.

So the next time you are in the market for some quality sterling silver jewelry be sure to check out estate silver jewelry!

How To Find The Best Wedding Jewelry

Noviembre 2nd, 2009 por Engagement Rings Admin

When it comes time to get married, you have a lot of things on your mind. In addition to all of the planning that goes into a wedding, you have big decisions to make on wedding jewelry. The engagement ring, for instance, is the first thing you have to think about. Saving for that purchase is a big deal, so you want to make sure you pick out the right one. You’ll also have to think about a wedding band, but that’s secondary to the engagement ring.

Finding the perfect diamond ring is all about the perfect fit. That’s not meant in a literal sense, but more in how the item fits your needs. Diamond rings are expensive, but they can vary in price depending upon size, cut, clarity, and a host of different factors. Before you can pick out your engagement ring, you have to know what your budget is. Diamond rings can run, typically, anywhere from $5,000 to $30,000. You can buy a bigger, more expensive ring, but that’s only for the high rollers. A good rule of thumb is to save three whole months’ worth of pay. Depending upon your salary, this could work.

When you figure out how much you’re willing to spend, you need to think about the kind of cut your future bride wants. You can usually find this out without giving away the fact that you’re going to propose. In passing, find out if she wants a princess cut, an emerald cut, or maybe just a round cut. The options are almost endless, so you need to really understand what she’s looking for. Diamond rings might carry a big price tag, but they aren’t all created equally. Some looks are more suitable for different women, depending upon their taste.

Another important “C” word is clarity. Many people like to judge diamond rings based upon their size or their price, but clarity is much more important in the grand scheme of things. A good engagement ring will really shine when the light hits it. Sometimes, people settle for cloudier rings that are less expensive. This might be good for your budget, but it won’t give you a great looking engagement ring. Make sure that you ask and find out the grade of the diamond clarity. Jewelers are required to give out this information, so make sure you take advantage of it.

Shopping for engagement rings is fun, so you need to approach it that way. You shouldn’t have to worry about things while you are doing it. You should figure out how much you are willing to spend, and don’t stress if it’s not a whole lot. You can find some great diamond rings for less than you would think. It’s important that you do all of the research and above all else, make the ring fit your future bride. She will love it pretty much not matter what you happen to spend on it, but you’d rather have a great ring than an average looking one.

Man Made Diamond: How Is A Diamond Made

Noviembre 2nd, 2009 por Engagement Rings Admin

‘Man made diamond’ is also known as synthetic diamond and this ‘man made diamond’ or the ‘lab created diamond’ undergoes a chemical and physical process in the diamond mines. The main difference between ‘Man made diamond’ and the natural diamond is the composition of three dimensional carbon crystals. The ‘lab created diamond’ or the ‘man made diamond’ are known by various names such as manufactured diamond, artificial diamond, industrial diamond or the cultured diamond. ‘Man made diamond’ is manufactured either from the silicon carbide or the cubic zirconium.

History of the Lab Created Diamond
The first ‘man made diamond’ was manufactured in Sweden in 1953 by Quintus and by an engineer Anders Kampe. This lab created the diamond manufacturing process, bulky and huge machines were used which were designed by Baltzar Von Platen. But this feat was not known to many people. After one year General Electric took a giant step in manufacturing the ‘man made diamond’. This step encouraged the many young aspirants and the ‘man made diamond’ industry came into existence in the nineteenth century. The main industrialist in lab created diamond or the ‘man made diamond’ was the GE Super abrasives and the De Beers Industrial Diamonds.

In and around 1980 some additional ‘man made diamond’ industries were formed in Korea. Later on the Chinese became the pioneers in the lab created diamond process. GE Super abrasives later on sold their ‘lab created diamond’ unit to Little John and this was named the Diamond Innovation Company of 2003. During this same time De Beers Industry was divided into two different ‘man made diamond’ industries and the second industry was known as Element Six.

At present, there are many ‘man made diamond’ industries available around the globe and some are well known diamond industries such as Sumitomo Electric Hard Metal, Smith Mega Diamonds and the United States Synthetic Diamond industry. Today the ‘lab created diamond’ has a market of one billion dollars and produces around three billion carats of the Man made diamonds in a year. Out of these three billion carats only 130 million carats are used in the manufacturing gems.

Manufacturing Process Of Lab created Diamonds
To create a diamond, there are basically two methods that are used now days. One of the methods is high a pressure, high temperature method and commonly known as HPHT method in the ‘man made diamond’ manufacturing arena. As the production cost is less in this process, making it a more popular method used world wide. The main accessory used is a heavy press that provides a pressure of 5 GPA and the temperature that is formed due to this pressure is around 1500 degree Celsius. The diamond better known as ‘man made diamond’ is created by all these procedures inside the earth’s crust. In this process there are two types of presses used and they are a belt press and a cubic press.

Another method used in ‘Lab created diamond’ is the Chemical Vapor Deposition which is also called the CVD method. In this method carbon plasma is formed on the top where the tiny carbon atoms are made form a ‘Man Made Diamond’. In this CVD various gases are used to energize the suitable conditions for diamond growth on the top layer. This method of Chemical Vapor deposition was introduced in 1980.

Loose Cubic Zirconia: Your Guide To Simulated Diamonds

Noviembre 2nd, 2009 por Engagement Rings Admin

Although at one time cubic zirconia was looked down upon as a “fake” diamond, today the simulated stones are appreciated for their own characteristics and beauty. Still, many people do not have a thorough understanding of these synthetic gems. Here are answers to some common questions.

What is Cubic Zirconia?

Loose cubic zirconia (also called CZ stones) are lab created gems. Cubic zirconia is found in nature, but it is extremely rare and the chemical properties of natural cubic zirconia are slightly different than those of synthetic gems. The simulated stones are made from a powder that is heated to a very high temperature, and then cooled in a controlled environment so that flawless crystals form.

How are Cubic Zirconia Stones Different from Diamonds?

There are several differences, the most notable of which is that diamonds are found in nature whereas cubic zirconia used for jewelry is man-made. Diamonds rate 10 on the Mohs scale of hardness (the highest rating), whereas cubic zirconia is generally rated at 8.5 on the hardness scale. CZ stones are denser and thus heavier than diamonds. When it comes to quality, however, these synthetic gems leap ahead of the pack. Whereas most diamonds have what are called inclusions (flaws), the best cubic zirconia stones are flawless. Similarly, colorless diamonds are very rare, whereas the lab created gems are perfectly colorless (although color can be added during the manufacturing process).

Are all Cubic Zirconia Stones the Same Quality?

Like diamonds, loose cubic zirconia stones are rated according to quality. Cubic zirconia AAAAA are the best quality simulated stones, while CZ AAA are next, followed by the A-grade cubic zirconia.

Are Cubic Zirconia Stones Available in the Same Cuts as Diamonds?

Cubic zirconia stones are cut so that they have the same facets and proportions as diamonds. The most classic cut of both diamonds and CZ stones is the round brilliant, with 58 facets and the ability to reflect light. Stones with a marquis cut are typically twice as long as they are wide and have a point on each end. A pear shaped cut resembles a teardrop combines the faceted brilliant cut of a round stone with the elongated look of a marquis stone. Similarly, the oval cut has the sparkle of a round brilliant, but is oval rather than round. The octagon cut, also known as the emerald cut, has stepping stone facets that reflect light more subtly. A square cut is sometimes called a princess cut, and has pointed corners.

How is Loose Cubic Zirconia Used?

Jewelry makers buy loose cubic zirconia at wholesale prices, and use a variety of materials to transform the synthetic gems into beautiful accessories. CZ stones are used in engagement rings, wedding rings, earrings, bracelets, pendants, necklaces, solitaire rings, and even ankle bracelets. Colored cubic zirconia is also used in a variety of fashion jewelry, including earrings and as side stones in rings. Settings are often made from 14-karat gold, 18-karat gold, sterling silver, or platinum.

Give Them Diamonds!

Noviembre 1st, 2009 por Engagement Rings Admin

Everyone Loves Diamonds…
When they said that diamonds are a girl’s best friend, they weren’t joking. Women love diamonds for their brilliance and for what they represent, and men like diamonds for the elegance and class associated with the gems. No matter whom you’re shopping for, especially if it’s yourself, you can’t go wrong with diamonds. A diamond watch is a gift that anyone would love to own.

How to Decide Where to Buy and How Much to Spend
If you need to keep the time anyway, why not do it in style? But shopping for diamond watch is never easy. Every jewelry store is competing with all the others, and you hear so many horror stories about this jewelry store and that. You hardly know which store to go to when they all make each other out to be crooks. When every jewelry store advertises that the competition doesn’t know what they’re doing, who are you supposed to trust? And diamond watches are so expensive, many of the prices found in the jewelry stores are just too much to pay.

A little Internet shopping might be the first thing you’ll want to check out, because even if you don’t buy you can get some different prices to comparison shop with. In most locations, the Sunday edition of the newspaper is filled with ads for jewelry stores. It is always easier to buy something when it’s on sale, and the Sunday sales ads offer great bargains. The colorful displays will give the casual shopper a good idea of what’s being offered, also.

The Right Diamonds for You
Diamond lovers talk of clarity, carat, and cut, but in truth the best diamond to buy is the one that you absolutely love. If it sings to you, and you can afford it, then you should take the plunge. What’s the point of having something attractive if you don’t completely adore it? A quality diamond is the one that looks the best to you. After all, a beautiful diamond watch is an item that can be passed down through generations, and will always be treasured. The right diamond watch to pick is the one that you love, because either way you’re going to be stuck with it for a long while yet.

The setting, the stones, the watch itself all must combine in just the right way. When all these different pieces come together to form the perfect whole, you will know it right away. The watch that strikes you the most is the one you’ll want to buy. Worrying about the cut and shape of the stones, the perfection and size, is less important than the general appeal and effect of the whole piece.

If you’re buying diamonds for someone else, try to put yourself in their shoes. Think about their taste and style in other jewelry that they’re worn or purchased, and mimic this as much as possible. In any case, a diamond watch is a gift that anyone will cherish for a lifetime. A beautiful diamond watch will be cherished all the more, and buying someone a gift that they would have picked out for themselves, if they could have, is a gesture that will never be forgotten.

The Gift They’ll Always Remember
Large or small, diamonds are always fashionable. A diamond watch is a great gift to give to yourself or someone close to you, and it should last you a lifetime. After all, doesn’t everyone love diamonds? Some can afford to buy the very best, and that’s always to be encouraged. Others must live on a budget, but that doesn’t mean everyone doesn’t want to buy elegant things or give precious gifts. Doing a little shopping around will help you determine what kind of watch you can afford to purchase, and at least you’ll have done your homework before you venture inside your local jewelry store. Giving someone a beautiful piece that will last them a lifetime is a gesture that won’t soon be forgotten, and if you’re shopping for yourself then you’ll have something you can always cherish. The best purchase you can make is an educated one, so be sure to do plenty of shopping around before you commit. In any case, diamonds are going to be an expensive purchase, but they are considered to be something of an investment. You’ll want to spend your money wisely, and come away with something that best suits you.

Green Amber Jewelry - What Is Green Amber?

Noviembre 1st, 2009 por Engagement Rings Admin

Green amber is a form of natural Baltic amber that has a very dark, rich green color. Amber of any color is formed from fossilized resin produced by pine trees, and most amber is between forty and sixty million years old. The green occurs when organic material from plants is trapped within the natural amber, giving the green color. The various chemical compositions and variations on the plant materials that became covered with the thick and sticky resin provide the variations and patterns in green amber.

The tones and shades of green will vary within the amber, and the unique rich colors will captivate the eye and draw attention to the beauty of the gem itself. Green amber is considered to be more valuable than the more common brown amber, but the most valuable and rarest of ambers is the clear and completely transparent amber.

Amber and legend

In many ancient traditions and religions, amber is seen to have a special place. The ancient Chinese defined amber as “tigers soul” and wearing amber was believed to give the wearer the strength and courage of a tiger. The ancient Greeks believed that amber represented the tears of Apollo’s daughters, and considered the gems to ward off evil spirits.

Due to the amber’s chemical composition, it first attracted mystics with its properties of transparency and the appearance of movement within the gem as the light hit from different directions. In addition amber would burn if heated in a fire, and this added to its qualities and uniqueness.

Amber jewelry has been found that dated to the Paleolithic area, around 12,000 B.C. Both the Celts and the Romans used amber as a rare commodity in trading. In the 1100’s Gdansk was the major center of amber production, and the Baltic area continues to be the largest producer of amber to this day.

Green amber in jewelry

The beautiful rich colors of green amber make it a natural match for both silver and gold jewelry. Green amber (like all amber), while considered a gemstone, is one of the few gems that is not of mineral origin. The more colored and patterned the green amber is the more the jeweler can use these patterns to work into the setting of the gem. Green amber that also contains fossilized material is very rare and very valuable.

Green amber is a soft gem, and is very warm to both the touch and to wear. It is not cold against the skin like other gems, and amber collects and stores static electricity. Very lightweight, amber is an excellent gem for earrings as it adds little weight to the metal that it is set in.

Green amber is used in making bracelets, necklaces, rings and all other forms of jewelry. Green amber is easily cared for with simple polishing or buffing to remove the slight scratches that may occur on the surface of this soft gem.

Express Your Love With An Unbreakable Diamond Ring

Noviembre 1st, 2009 por Engagement Rings Admin

She is the most important person in your life. Maybe she picks you up when you’re down, or is the mother of your children, or just cares for you unconditionally. Or maybe it’s a combination of all three. Whatever your reasons are, the truth is simple and undeniable – you are crazy about her. So why not express your love with an unbreakable diamond ring? We all know that nothing melts a woman’s heart like diamonds, but the ring you select has to be a fit to her personality and style. In this article, we’ll give you some simple tips on making sure the diamond ring you give is one that takes her breath away.

The most important (and overlooked) aspect when it comes to selecting an unbreakable diamond ring is to keep your sweetheart’s tastes in mind. Many guys want to impress their woman by “picking it out themselves”. This often leads to a scenario where she “happily” accepts the ring. She may actually be thinking that she hates it, but will feel compelled to wear it because you picked it out with love. This is one situation you definitely want to avoid – and it is so easy to do

By keeping her in mind and paying attention to her preferences, you will express your love with an unbreakable diamond ring that she will adore. For example, watch her the next time a jewelry ad comes on TV or the next time you pass a jewelry store window. Pay close attention to her reactions to certain pieces, even those being worn by other people. Make a casual comment such as “Boy, that sure looks nice” and see what kind of response it gets. Women love to give “subtle” clues when it comes to diamond rings. Unfortunately, men don’t always pick up on them.

It is also important for you to take stock of the rings she currently wears. And we’re not talking her grandmother’s antique ring that she only wears on special occasions. You want to be taking note of the diamond rings she wears on a regular basis, as these pieces will be your guide to the diamond ring you select. She wouldn’t wear something all of the time if she didn’t like it, right? So, pay close attention to the style of diamond she prefers as well as the choice of metal (white gold, yellow gold, platinum, etc).

One last key piece of information and you’ll be ready to buy. It is helpful, but not necessary, if you can somehow find out her ring size. While she is at work or running errands, you could simply take one of her rings to the jeweler and voila! – you now have that mystery solved.

These tips will help you express your love with an unbreakable diamond ring that is sure to elicit a major reaction on her end. Remember, you don’t want to be the guy who just “picked it out themselves”. You want to be the guy that picked it out perfectly.

Popular Designs In Silver Jewelry

Noviembre 1st, 2009 por Engagement Rings Admin

Sterling silver jewelry has long been considered one of the most popular with designs that mimic the finest of gold and diamonds. Everything from the byzantine to the vite, also known as nails head, design is made available at a fraction of the cost when compared to their gold competitors.

Also popular among silver jewelry designs is the eternity circle necklace and designer inspired heart necklace. While there is no shortage of retailers eager to sell silver jewelry to their customers, there are a great number of wholesalers online that are willing to not only sell to businesses, but to individuals as well. One popular silver jewelry wholesaler, known as Teeda, requires a minimum order of $100.00. Anything less will result in a $10.00 handling fee, but individuals will find that the low wholesale prices are worth their time.

One of the most popular styles of necklaces in silver jewelry is that of the box link. Commonly known for it’s strength and durability, the box link will accommodate most pendants and can easily be stored away without having to worry about kinks.

One of the most important aspects of owning silver jewelry is knowing how to properly care for it. If preserved, silver jewelry can last a lifetime. If it is left strewn about, however, tarnishing may result in a manner that is beyond repair. The proper care for silver jewelry includes keeping it tucked away safely in a jewelry box or armoire. If at all possible, jewelry should be kept in the gift box that it came in. This will prevent it from coming into contact with other pieces, which may result in accidental scratches and will be particularly noticeable in highly polished pieces.

After wearing silver jewelry, it is recommended that individuals polish it using a jewelry polishing cloth before placing it back inside the box. By cleaning the residue that results from regular wear, silver jewelry will be less likely to tarnish and will maintain it’s beautiful luster. In addition, there are also tarnish strips that are available for keeping silver jewelry from tarnishing. These small pieces of paper, commonly found in the shape of a square, are placed inside the box with silver jewelry and is thought to help it maintain it’s natural beauty.

Most recently, some manufacturers have created jewelry boxes with special interior designed to keep silver jewelry free of tarnish for up to 20 years. If kept inside the box while not being worn, silver jewelry is thought to be safe from the harsh environment that would otherwise be very damaging to it’s beauty. Tarnish-free jewelry boxes and rolls are available at most retail and fine jewelry stores, along with many online specialty shops.

How To Throw The Perfect Jewelry Sales Pitch; A Review Of The Basics

Noviembre 1st, 2009 por Engagement Rings Admin

For anyone in the sales industry, the ultimate accomplishment is making a great sale. When it comes to a luxury item like jewelry, the sale can be an even harder goal to achieve. With the right approach, doubters and misers buy products and services everyday. So why not that 3-carat diamond ring? Here is a review of a few fundamental techniques used by the best jewelry sales people:

1. Know Your Product

Know everything about your merchandise: strengths, weaknesses, and any unique features. Also understand factors that influence its demand in the industry and popularity in fashion. All of these will strengthen your presentation and make the customer more willing to buy. There should be nothing that anyone can tell you about your own product that you don’t already know. You will definitely be asked questions and be given myriad objections, so be prepared to elaborate on all aspects of your merchandise in response.

2. Know Your Customer

Make every effort to know all you can about your potential clients. Gain an understanding of their purchasing habits and what motivates their choices. Why have they come to you? What are they looking for and for what occasion? Tailor your approach to suit their needs. When you know the buying habits of your prospect, you can use it to develop a relationship that will lead to repeat business. Learn their names and use them in conversation. Don’t forget to be friendly!

3. Build Value, Create Desire

Jewelry purchases are oftentimes emotional decisions. By building the value of a piece, you will be one step closer to making that sale. Apply the information the customer shared by joining the beneficial features with his/her buying motivation. Draw on their sentimentality to identify the right item for them. Tell them the rewards of owning such a piece. This will add that needed sense of value and will help quell potential objections.

Creating desire involves building your customer’s interest and excitement. Compliment the customer’s taste in order to validate their choice. Allow them to try it on, or suggest modeling it for them. Show your own interest in the piece as you respectfully hand it to them. Subtly play to their reactions. Create scenarios involving the jewelry that will appeal to your customer’s excitement, intrigue, or even vanity. Remember, you’re not just selling jewelry; you are selling a relationship as well.

4. Trial Close

Attempting a trial close tests your customer’s readiness to buy. Ask questions that imply the customer already owns the piece: “Shall I wrap it up?” “I’ll have your ring ready momentarily. Size 7, right?” Possible objections will arise here. Depending on their reasons for not committing, ask them questions to figure out what will make them more comfortable. Reinforce the positive aspects of the jewelry to remind your customer how much they like the piece. The more they talk, the easier it is to find the main objection. Then attempt another trial close. Stay happy!

5. The Close

This is when you ask for the sale if necessary. The customer might offer the sale with, “Do you accept credit cards?” If you’re not so lucky, ask a few more questions that receive positive feedback then ask something like, “How would you like to pay for that?” Attempt an add-on close after making the initial sale. You will come across as helpful (so long as you’re not too aggressive) by suggesting matching items. If the add-on sale isn’t made right away, you have already planted the seed for future purchases.

Making the sale does not mean you are finished. Remind them when they need to get their jewelry serviced and cleaned. Teach them proper storage and handling. Follow up with your customer and keep the relationship going. Give them your card and collect their information so you can call on birthdays and other special occasions to remind them of important dates when jewelry would make a great gift. Send “Thank You” cards or written notes for memorable dates that you should keep on file. Keeping these tips in mind will increase your chances of making more sales and will boost your career.

Music To Your Eyes: Diamond And Sapphire Engagement Rings

Noviembre 1st, 2009 por Engagement Rings Admin

Sonny and Cher, Fred and Ginger, chocolate and peanut butter…some things are just meant to go together. And diamonds and sapphires are no exception. With so many choices, a diamond and sapphire engagement and wedding ring set can go down in your personal history with as much romance and excitement as Antony and Cleopatra…with a much happier ending, of course!

No need for the blues, with sapphires you can branch out into a variety of melodies. While sapphires are usually associated with the deep blue only a sapphire can exude, sapphires cover a large portion of the rainbow from purples to reds to oranges and yellows. Imagine the glitz and glitter of a brilliant white diamond surrounded by a sparkling ruby sapphire…there’s something you’ll enjoy looking at for years to come! And if you love the idea of a colored diamond, such as a pink or yellow, you can find the perfect complimentary sapphire to create an elegant sunset on your finger.

On the bright side, if the cost of a colored diamond is too much to consider (at least for now–always keep your options open!), consider a colored sapphire instead. The main attraction could be the yellow or pink sapphire, supported by a brilliant chorus of smaller diamonds, and no one would know the difference unless you chose to reveal your brilliant secret!

Or consider this–if your heart’s desire is a pink or yellow diamond, but you’re not dating a movie star (for which you may want to thank your lucky stars), you can create the “look” without the price tag. Set a smaller yellow or pink diamond in the center and surround it with the same color of sapphires. This creates the stunning yellow or pink glow you’ve got your heart set on, but significantly lowers the cost. You can have that ‘two million’ look without emptying your bank account (or putting yourself in debt that will last as long as the marriage).

Sapphires are pretty study rocks, too–only second in hardness to diamonds, which means you can mix ‘em up as much as you want and be confident that your ring will last for years to come, just like your favorite classic tune that never goes out of style.

Need another reason to consider the diamond/sapphire duet? The rocks are gorgeous and can be put in any kind of setting you prefer and still look great. Whether you like to dance to the beat of your own drummer or prefer the classic sounds of Mozart, you can combine your diamond and sapphire choices in a way that will make your heart sing for years to come.
